He IS (with my husband), just not with me :( Yesterday I made it a point to try and have a great play session with him. He couldn't have been more disinterested :( When I'm watching TV late at night he NEVER comes and sits with me on the couch. If I go and pick him up and bring him over with me, he leaves. He sits in a chair listening for my husband to go to bed and when he knows he has gone into the bedroom he makes a beeline to be with him. :( It's my fault because I didn't go with Lenny when he first went to look at Roary before we adopted him. (We had seen a few cats before Roary that weren't interested in us and the loss of Cody was still so raw, I didn't want to be let down again). So, Lenny went to see Roary. The next day we both went and adopted him, but I think he completely associates Lenny with being the "one" who saved him. Roary is the only cat of the three I've had who literally wants little to do with me. He DOES "talk" to me, (probably cursing me out) and he kisses up to me for food and comes into bed to wake me in the morning, but that's it!!! It makes me miss Cody even more because Cody wanted nothing more than to be wherever I was :(
