For the past few years, I have been the lucky recipient of the GORGEOUS Chinese New Year cards that talented artist, and fellow blogger, Maggie Swanson (visit her Shelter Cats blog here) creates every year. I dropped the ball (or so I thought), because the Chinese New Year began February 1st, 2022....then I found out that the Chinese New Year lasts SIXTEEN DAYS!!! Yay! I'm not late!
Please enjoy the beautiful card that Maggie made for the Year of The Tiger!!
GO OUT AND ROAR!!!
That is a beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteMy human is glad she is not a tiger, because blue and green are her very least favorite colors! I'm a horse (2014), and I was rather displeased that none of my lucky colors was pink.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Sheep (Or a Goat depending on the website) and my favorite color is green!!!
DeleteWell done and I just got back from getting my nails and toes done and of course they are Vietnamese. They have a three day celebration. Such fun for them.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and rest of the week, Caren. Scritches to your handsome and precious boys. ♥
We love the art on the New Year's card. Don't let Roary think the year is all about him. BOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy Chinese New Year! XO
ReplyDeleteHappy Year of the Tiger dear friends and way to go Roary!

ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful cards! Love the picture of Rotary and Levy! Happy Year of the Tiger to all!
ReplyDelete!
Happy Year of the Tiger!
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean that our Tigers (and maybe the Lions) will do well this next upcoming season?? Sure hope so! LOL!
Roary, you had better roar for them, OK?! Levi can bark!
as far as the Tigers are concerned you may be right. But...it isn't the "Year of the Cat" and Lions are NOT Tigers.....so as usual, the Lions more than likely are shit out of luck.
DeleteIsn't a baseball team having 9 players?? Then we best not get our hopes too high, as 9 is an unlucky number for tigers...and, um who has #9 on their jersey?? None the less: Go Tigers, GO!
DeleteLOL. LOL!
We have a few little tigers here. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely art work! I love it. LOL Yep, I didn't realize Chinese New Year lasted more than a day as well, until I learned more about the culture! Happy New Year of the Tiger!
ReplyDeleteIt’s been a wild New Year festival this year and I expect a wild full moon too. Maggie’s tiger card is the best. Happy V Day and yay Rams even though I thought the Bengals would have Tiger luck 😹
ReplyDeleteHi Layla! Your comments never go through until I approve them (smile).....as for the "Tiger luck" maybe if their quarterback wasn't so arrogant, vile and full of himself things would have worked out differently. I saw an interview with he and Matthew Stafford (the QB from the Rams) where Stafford complimented him profusely and he never once said thank you. He sat there smirking as if he were above it all. He said he "paid his dues" after having only been in the league for 2 years where Stafford has been playing for 13 years, 12 of those spent in Detroit. Not to mention, Stafford is humble and a gentleman.
DeleteDid this go through?
