    When I was in 6th grade, my very last day as a 6th grader, because I was moving to junior high school at the end of the summer, we had a Flag Day parade, and those of us who played instruments got to march around. I remember that I wore a blue and white striped shirt, with red culottes. Funny how your post made that memory come back!
