Today is the day we honor Dr.Seuss, my all-time favorite children's book author!! I memorized "The Cat in The Hat" when I was four years old and never looked back! I read every one of his books that I could get my paws on.
Many of you will remember portions of this post (because it just wouldn't be the same to NOT share Cody who ALWAYS featured Dr.Seuss on his blog), but this year, we have tweaked it a bit and you will see some new "things." Enjoy!!

| Cody won this hat that was made by Ms.Ellen over at 15 and Meowing March of 2018  March 2, 1904 is a date to be remembered evermore! Write it on your wall! It is the birthday of probably the most popular children's book author of all!
It is only appropriate on this most special day, that we wish Dr. Seuss the HAPPIEST of BIRTHDAYS!! It is also Read Across America Day which is ALWAYS celebrated on Dr.Seuss's birthday "Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books" Visit Seussville for all sorts of activities! Reading to your children is one of the BEST gifts that you can give them! Instilling the love of books to your children will bring them joy for the rest of their lives! |

Cute hat and cute cat, that means this post is all of that. Seuss would love this and all the others that celebrate. Books have been my life since i could hold one.. my hubby doesnt read. strange. but the thing is we are both on the weird side and are so glad we found comatible weird. Seuss was right

ReplyDeleteRoary and Levi welcome to your first Dr Seuss Day. Dad really loved "The Cat in the Hat" and read that and Horton, Green Eggs and so many when he was little. It instilled a love of reading that lasts to this day! Great seeing Cody we love those photos as he and Dakota have a big place in our hearts! Thanks for Hopping along!

Pee Ess - Misty didn't pass. It is a very long story told on our blog earlier last year. In short Mom had a severe arm break, Misty tore her CCL, someone agreed to take her and help her get better, dumped her in a shelter;then Mom found out three months later and had to fight to get her back, then two surgeries for both knees, and on and on. It was NOT a good year, but happily Misty is still with us now that she has been returned.
Ohhhhh I am so sorry that I TOTALLY misunderstood!!!!! I am so sorry, that had to have been living hell. I am so sorry. I am thrilled that she is back with you though! Please forgive my stupidity!!

Aww, we love seeing Roary and Levi in that great Seussian graphic (and as Thing 1 and Thing 2!). And we are always so happy to see Cody. He was definitely THE cat in the hat! Hugs to you, sweet pals. And Happy Dr. Seuss Day.
