Disclosure: I received information about this website via email and received no financial compensation for sharing this info.
I was contacted via email by Scott who is an avid Bird Lover and has created live cams that he posts on YouTube. He has two cams that are located about 100 feet from the back of his house. He uses them to help show which food and feeders that he is currently using. They are also extremely entertaining to watch the birds and mammals with the HD security camera!
I have often Googled bird videos for Cody to watch on my phone (yep he watches them on my phone and loves them!) so when I received the email from Scott I thought you might find his channel entertaining for you as well as your kitties!
Scott says he watches birds/animals because it is fun and he wants to inspire people to attract wildlife in their backyard.
Like what you see? You can subscribe to Bird Watching HQ for free on YouTube to entertain your kitties! You can also visit the Bird Watching HQ website
That will be interesting to watch. I have bookmarked it to come back later when it is daylight. We are 8 hours ahead of the video cams here.
ReplyDeletegood point!
DeleteI have been back watching all the live webcams and the humming birds are amazing! I only went for a quick look and stayed between 3 webcams for an hour!! There were 15 humming birds at the same time in the first webcam. I have never seen them before and they fascinate me.
DeleteOMG I AM SOOOO HAPPY you are enjoying it!! I was quite captivated with them myself!
DeleteWe have feeders outside to attract squirrels for us dogs. Mom wants to get them in the yard for us to chase, but sometimes the birds show up too and the kitties enjoy that "bird TV" live.
ReplyDeleteBird TV Live is ALWAYS a good thing. My old apartment was on the first floor and my Angel Bobo used to spend virtually his entire day in the window watching the birds and other wildlife. Cody doesn't have that luxury because we are on second floor. He still looks out the window but he doesn't get to see the birds "up close and personal" This is great for cats like him that don't have the luxury of living on the first floor.
DeleteWe'll have to check out the hummingbirds! I put on a show with birds from Amazon Prime and Ringo was so intrigued. He watched it for nearly 30 minutes.
ReplyDeleteYep! that's how Cody is too!
DeleteI must confess I never thought of showing bird videos to my cat on my phone. I do sometimes put bird documentaries on TV and my cat seems really interested. I have to check out this website.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love birds, but don't put out feeders because I don't want The 'O' Cats to have a smorgasbord, knowwhatImean? Watching live feed, though, would be fun!
ReplyDeleteNow that would be wonderful for Pipo, cause sometimes when the live bird TV is on here, the pups chase them all away...same for critters...though petcretary tells them to do that, MOL, MOL!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I play live bird/critter videos here, all I get is a look and perhaps a bark, but maybe specific ones on a big screen would entertain Pipo better than on the laptop?
Awww, this looks like around our home. We feed the birds and love to watch them. We also have a fountain in the front of our home that all the birds go get a drink and take a bath. So fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteI linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a purrfect day and week, Cody. My best to your brother and your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥

ReplyDeleteUh;, oh;, Caren, I think you have made me into an IPad addict!!! I LOVE BIRD WATCHING and the funny thing is, mama actually wants to USE her IPad for something called °work°.but I am not about to move my tail for her!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat great videos. We will ...er...I will sneak a subscription as soon as she leaves me ALONE!
LouLou, you tell Mama that iPad is for your bird watching ONLY!!!! Have fun! Hope you see lots of birdies! Cody will be watching too!
DeleteI love watching the wild birds (as well as our own birds!) but in the summer we can't put bird feeders out because it attracts bears. This would be a fun alternative!
ReplyDeleteOMG BEARS!!
