This makes my mom laugh. As a little girl, she took her cat to cat shows. Gramma hated it, but Mom loved it so much, so let her go a few times. Now she would never go, nor would show a dog, but it brings found memories of her childhood with Fluffy back.
ReplyDeleteAwww that story about Fluffy made me smile! :)
DeleteI think I'd just as soon stay home and snooze!
ReplyDeleteAw on all the cute kitties. I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

ReplyDeletego for it! I went to one in Novi and it was different than Carry's experience

ReplyDeleteI sooo wish you were coming here! If you were, I would DEFINITELY attend!
Deletenow you've made me in the mood to go to a cat show! I will have to see if there is a nearby one in Canada! Love all the varieties!

I think any of my cats would be too stressed at a cat show.
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that they have a household category. I recently just heard about a rescue dog show in Los Angeles this month!
ReplyDeleteCaren you have come the closest to the actual amount in the jar...big reveal tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Our annual CFA show is this weekend...very excited!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time!!! I'm not going to this one (have been to other shows) but I know you will have a great time!!
DeleteI went to the cat show in conjunction with CWA last year - and I met a bunch of the people with cats in the household category. I didn't even know that was a thing. Ellie's super social and I considered trying to enter her - but her reaction to my niece and nephew's visit pretty much nixed that.
ReplyDeleteBut....Ellie might do fine at a cat show because she would be in her carrier...Cody is the same with little kids but he LOVES big people!!!!
DeleteTwo cat rescue groups with be at the show with cats & kittens available for adoption.
