"Observed annually around the world, March 19th is National Let’s Laugh Day.
We have all heard the saying, “Laughter is the best medicine.” This is the day to take your medicine.
Some studies have shown that laughter may boost your immune system, relieve tension and help you relax. Who does not need any of those things in our busy and hectic world?"
I absolutely LOVE to laugh and I love those who can make me laugh! There are many of you out there who make me laugh a number of times a week and I am deeply appreciative!
Because Cody doesn't really "smile", I decided to share a photo of someone in our family who DOES, and he does so often!
If, when you visit us, you get a laugh or two, or maybe three, then that makes Cody and I (and Dakota too!), super happy! Now, make this a good day and remember to LAUGH!!
My human loves funny things - in fact, she almost exclusively goes to see comedy movies, and hunts down clips of her favorites on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteHope ya find somefin good to laff bout today!

ReplyDeleteI consider myself lucky to be a person who is "easily amused." I laugh all the time, mostly at myself.

DeleteNothing finer, I agree. A good joke can be told many times and please many folk in many languages. Heres to more laughs and less worries.

ReplyDeleteWe like laughing, too, and we try hard to make our Mom laugh more often. But more often, we like to get into trouble which, apparently, isn't as funny as we think it ought to be.

I love to laugh, and I really love to make the residents at the nursing home laugh too. It helps them feel better about all the things they might be sad about...and it brightens everyone's day. Tonight I had a lady refuse adamantly to not have a shower. Even though I cajoled and offered many times. So later in the evening, she started to giggle when I put her to bed...she said she thought I was a stubborn cute little one! And then I too had a good belly laugh with her...and we shared hugs...and then she went peacefully to sleep...with no shower...sigh...oh well!
