I stare like that at my mum too when I want food. And if she is too lazy to get up from watching the TV I sit in front of the screen to block her view. Eventually, she will get up and feed me.
Oh, Cody, stop staring and do something about your lazy Mom.
We like to sit on the keyboard when we want her attention. We'll also circle around her and knock things off the table if she doesn't get what we want (or denies what we want).
Your Mom is supposed to cater to your every whim! We are fairly certain this is written in stone....somewhere. Don't give up, Cody. Purrs, Winston and Emily
Cody, it would work on me! C'mon over, and have a feast! These days, every time Chuck wants a snack, The Hubby and I are like the Keystone Kops trying to get him a nibble...he's much too skinny. You can join in!
Thanks so much but the difference is, I am NOT skinny! MOL! In fact, Mom is terrified about my Vet appt next week cause he picked me up yesterday and she said "Cody, you feel ENORMOUS!!" Yet another insult!
It's not time is Frodo's nickname!! And thanks for the warning about pet food bags but don't worry-- I never let them lick the bag unless I am watching! Thanks!
You are a very well behaved cat Cody. When Mr. Cat wants food he won't stare at me. He will meow at the top of his lungs until I can't take it no more and feed him
Actually, no he isn't lol. I left that part out. He starts meowing at the top of his lungs at 10pm (before his 11pm snack).........then...he starts back up at around 2:30 am. It is the freakiest LOUD meow you have EVER heard! lol
My other name is Hey-Stop...as in stop tickling me, he gets on the chair behind me and paws at my waist...which tickles, MOL!
This was a cute and funny post. By the way, Pipo used to be rather portly, I now ration his food, if the bowl gets empty I have to practice tough love...sigh...so I try to play more with him, try being the operative word, Tee-hee! (He gets grain free...and believe it or not, he sometimes leaves food in the dish!) And he seems to look a lot more lithe. He jumps more too. And plays 'mousie' games.

ReplyDeleteWe think she's rude. It's ALWAYS time for food. :)
ReplyDeleteMy sentiments exactly!! Thank COD you said that! Mudpie below you had me worried there for a second. MOL!!
DeleteYes, that's very rude, Cody. Frankly, I never get that look from Mudpie for food...she eats to live, she doesn't live to eat! LOL
ReplyDeleteWhoa! That is rude but I guess it's better than "go away." MOL! TW's line is wait another half hour.
ReplyDeleteWell, it could be much worse.
