When I was contacted by My Flowers Forever/Bellabeads asking if I would be interested in featuring their Pet Memorial Jewelry, the timing could not have been more perfect. July 2nd marked the 10th anniversary of my beloved Bobo's passing, and I felt this post would be yet another wonderful way of honoring him, and to enable you to win a custom made piece of jewelry that will honor YOUR beloved pet.
ABOUT BELLABEADS/MY FLOWERS FOREVER.COM
Bellabeads, which began
under the name Flowers Forever, was started in 1994 by the current owner,
Cristina Segarra. What started out as a small business with just one employee,
offering clients exceptional service and high quality designs, has flourished
into a fully-staffed memorial jewelry and flower preservation business,
available to customers worldwide. As Bellabeads continues to expand its
services and product lines, we remain dedicated to providing customers with
only the highest quality finished products. Every product sold is hand-made on
location, with the utmost attention to detail. This ensures that your custom
piece is not only one of a kind, but also perfect.
We are a company that makes memorial jewelry from pet ashes,
pet fur and flower
petals. We have been in business over 20 years.
We ship worldwide, so
it’s no surprise that we have created designs for clients as far away as Japan
and from events as prestigious as The Presidential Inaugural
Ball.

PET MEMORIAL & REMEMBRANCE JEWELRY
Our friends at Flowers Forever, understand that pets are more than
just animals. They become your companion, your friend and part of your family.
They share your laughs, your tears and your love.
Having to say goodbye to a pet is one of the hardest things to
do. It can feel like there's a hole in your heart that can never be filled. They believe that the only way to move forward is to reflect on the beauty of the
life that you were able to share and memorialize this remembrance.
That's why they create beautiful memorial and remembrance jewelry
for you. Each piece is handcrafted with love by their team of artisan jewelers
and is one-of-a-kind. They use hair or ashes from your dearly departed pet to
create memorial beads and pendants that you can wear, give as gifts, or pass
down as treasured heirlooms.
For purposes of this review, I was presented with the opportunity of having beads made that resembled Bobo's coloring. I am unusual in the fact that I didn't want to upset Bobo's ashes by opening them and sending them, nor did I want to send some of his fur since I have so little of it left. That wasn't a concern at all. The lovely people at My Flowers Forever & Bellabeads had me send a photo of Bobo that showed his coloring clearly, The picture above was done by Becart and is the photo that I chose. When my items arrived, I could NOT have been happier with the results!! They made two different variants of color for me.
Every memorial bead is handcrafted by their team of 5 highly
skilled artisan jewelers specifically for each customer. Each piece is
completely unique and one of a kind.
This type of jewelry is made by using freeze dried petals,
which can be combined with a small amount of the ashes of yout loved one if
desired. This means you can use the petals of your most-loved flower or from
the arrangement at their memorial. This can be further personalized by adding
their initials or their name. You can pick an artisan piece that lovingly
honors and celebrates them as an individual; a heart pendant, or a bracelet
that is engraved with their name, an angel wing pendant or a memorial keychain
with an engraved monogram. Whichever piece you select will stay with you and
hopefully provide you with some comfort in difficult times. You can see more bracelets here. Questions? Visit their FAQ'S page to find answers!
Pictured above is the Double Ring Necklace Pendant which I adore. If you look at the color of the pendant and the bead above, you will see how closely it resembles the color of Bobo's fur.
When my jewelry arrived I wanted to cry. Not out of sadness but out of happiness. The items were sent beautifully wrapped/presented, (if you are giving them as a gift they are ready to go). The bead and pendant that I received in honor of Bobo's 10th Anniversary at The Rainbow Bridge are items that I will wear and cherish forever. They are yet another way of somehow enabling him to still be close to me. I adore my items and you will too!

Oh, how beautiful! What a lovely way to pay tribute to our furry angels.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! What a special and meaningful piece of jewelry. :)
ReplyDeleteThe jewelry and sentiment is just lovely. I will share this on my Purr Prints of the Heart page. This is near and dear to my heart and I appreciate all the love and respect My Flowers Forever & Bellabeads puts into each and every tribute piece. Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey gang
ReplyDeleteIt is isn't it? I just adore what they made for me and will cherish them always! Thank you so much for sharing. Sending much love to all of you! xoox
DeleteThis is so beautiful, Caren. Like you, I've never opened Truffles ashes and don't know that I ever could. I love that companies understand what our pets mean to us and strive to create something so meaningful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Melissa. I totally understand. I looked at them when they arrived, left them in the bag and immediately put them in the urn I had bought. I have never, ever looked at them again and just can't bring myself to do so. I have looked at the tiny bit of fur I have that the Vet gave me that day. I can barely look at that either. I keep it in a heart-shaped porcelain box packed away. I agree with you, items like these are so special and meaningful.
DeleteNow that is really beautiful and unique. Such a terrific giveaway too!
ReplyDeleteMom honors her special fur babies with urns and a wall of photos. But these beads would be something to keep close to her heart all the time. Thank you so much for telling us about them.
ReplyDeletePurrs!
Herman and his mom Kim
That is what I love about the beads too, they are "close to my heart" all of the time. You are most welcome!!! (((hugs)))
DeleteMom especially loves the necklace and heart. Both keep your furbabe close to your heart furever.
ReplyDeleteOMCs you have met Amber that is wonderful. Amber is so sweet and funny. She sat at the table with my peeps and some others in their tour group. Amber is very friendly. We are so proud of her for starting her business too.
Mom was hoping to meet the furbabes but the peeps didn't have a car so Amber came to them.
Hugs madi and mom
Yep!! I have met Amber a few times and love her to pieces! She is one smart cookie and a real doll, genuine and down-to-earth. Just love her! (((hugs))) back
DeleteThose are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy fourth...
Noodle and crew
Those are really beautiful, Caren. I can imagine they bring you much joy, having something close to you that reminds you of your beloved boy must surely be comforting. What wonderful people to start a business whose premise understands that love comes in all shapes and sizes and that loss,no matter two legged or four, is loss. So glad you have that for your Bobo :)
ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
That is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI had, at one time, thought of making beads with cremation ashes but I was afraid my emotions would get the best of me. Besides, I don't have an oven to bake them in. What a wonderful service they provide.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to remember your pet and how nice they can do something for those who may not have any fur or ashes to remember their pet by. I love your Bobo bead.
ReplyDeleteOMC! I covet something like this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique way to have a memorial with you always.
I would love to have one for my Minko...but I too have only got pictures, as his ashes are tightly sealed, and no one gave me any of his furs...and at the time I did not even think about that:(
What a beautiful way to remember our beloved angels.
ReplyDeleteCaren! What lovely mementos of Bobo! I have not entered for anything in a long time, but I gotta for this!
