"She said I may put my toys in a bandana, attach it to a
stick, and sling it over my shoulder and visit one of you to hone my skills."
This made me laugh because YEARS ago when my Bobo was doing whatever it was that he was doing that was driving me insane that day, I told him if he wasn't happy living with me, he could pack his kitty toys in a bandana and HIT THE ROAD! (Of COURSE I was NOT serious!), but.....I did the packing for him. Please excuse the horrible photo quality, this photo was taken in the 90s...I had to take a photo of a photo....the bandana and stick were truly in the original shot......this was taken waaay before the days of blogging. I just did some touching up now to try and make it a little bit better.
See Katie? You aren't the ONLY kitty with a mean Mama!!!!
PS: you can come and stay with us ANY DAY!!! I have told you before, I could ALWAYS use a good, in-home hairstylist!
We love you AND your "Evil Mama!!!"
That is actually an adorable photo! I may bribe Binga into doing a similar pose.
ReplyDeleteMOL!!! Thank you!! I am certain yours will be MUCH better! Remember, this was taken a looooong time ago, back in the early 90s!
DeleteWe need a support group for mean moms. ~Bear Cat
ReplyDeleteLOL! See now in our house the critters say this to me. Just the other day Rosie told me (after I told her to please not jump on the dining room table during dinner) that if I didn't like it I was free to hit the road.
ReplyDeleteHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Love it!
DeleteKatie is so gorgeous, and that photo of Bobo ready to move out is just too cute♥
ReplyDeleteI was just telling my dog yesterday, that she needs to move out!☺☺

ReplyDeleteMOL! Too funny and very cute.
ReplyDeleteWell, I would have done the same thing. I would have been sorry I did it but I could see myself saying the same thing. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥
LOL..
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute old picture.
I almost say the same thing to Hisia when she wants to eat Felix's food (the cat with no house) instead of her food. The difference is .. her food in high quality, Felix's food is ... regular cat's food.
Bonne soirée
Nat à Chat
Just like kids....Hisia is like a kid with junk food, they ALWAYS want "junk" food instead of the GOOD stuff!! xoxo
DeleteMOL! That is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWe seem to ask ourselves a lot lately why we even have any furs. MOL! Then we go past one of them...and we melt and give them big hugs or scritches...MOL! Sowmtimes I think we even s=ask ourslves this about one or another of our humans, OMC!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes with old pictures I take them to a picture place (Meijer) and have them scanned onto a flash drive or a CD/DVD. I did that with a ton of way oldies from my aunts collection and they came back very nice. Now all my family members have copies of the flash drives to keep these memories fresh.
Bobo made a sweet Hobo:)
BOL I could name a few mean mommas

ReplyDelete=^x^=
Ha, too funny! I've been tempted to pack Nicki's kitty bags on more than one occasion!
ReplyDeleteMOL ! What a lovely photo ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteAngel Bobo is adorable with his hobo bag slug over his shoulder. The two of them, he and Katie could have hit the road and everyone passing them would have offered to take them home and love them forever. Then, they could have told the tale of being told to hit the road in the first place! I LOVE this picture and remembrance and I am so glad I picked a phrase that brought it to mind again. Loved it! And you. Oh, and mommy never let me really get more than started on her grooming just because she does use mousse in her hair. And spray on windy days. She knew it wouldn't be a good idea. 💗 Katie's mommy and me
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!! Awww you are sooo right! Who WOULDN'T want them? You are so sweet! THANK YOU!!!!! I was so happy you posted about that too because it brought back such a fun memory!!!! I should have known about the spray and all, I thought that when I mentioned it because I KNOW how careful/watchful you are with her! We LOVE YOU!!! xoxoxo Hoping Katie is feeling MUCH better today! xoxo

Cute photo! =)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun photo! Sometimes cats can really drive us crazy and we say stuff we don't really mean! When Mr. Cat isn't behaving very well I tell him I'll take him to his grandparents house for some vacation time!
ReplyDeletethank you!!! Ha!! Love it about "Mr.Cat!!!" I used to also put Bobo in another room for a 10 minute "time out!" lol!
DeleteWhat a funny photo! We're going to hide this from Mommy so she doesn't get an ideas!
ReplyDeleteNoooo Bobo don't go! LOL I also tell my cats to hit the road when they complain. Just joking of course! Although they do get lectured a lot if I am doing a TNR project and they get fussy - I tell them how good they have it. 'Cause they do compared to the street kitties :)
ReplyDeletexo,cynthia
Hahaha! That is so funny. I bet that made Bobo change his mind. :) It is work to carry your toys on your back. The photo is super cute!
ReplyDeleteWow. You had to do that without Photoshop. Very impressive.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a sweet photo. ♥

Sweet angel Bobo as a hobo, that's silly.
