Oh yes he got a little, that's the whole problem. I have a permanent "dinner date" now every night...right at my elbow and sometimes in my face lol. Thank you!
Mom begs to differ. I was NOT a good boy...I "grab" every night! It's all Mom's fault because she DOES share. Then she wonders why I do this! Love, Cody
Bert doesn't care about no either and will steal off the plate while Mom is eating if possible. She has a spray bottle, or she locks him up these days as she is tired of his stealing ways.
I hear ya! It is actually my fault. For years we thought Cody had a food allergy and he only ate RC rabbit. A couple of years ago, he switched to regular food. I only recently introduced him to chicken (a few months ago)...well...I created a monster, it's all my fault. He isn't allowed on the table, he came up and I gave him some chicken. Now, EVERY NIGHT (whether we eat chicken or not), I have a new "dining partner". My husband is ready to kill me lol. To make it worse, if I don't share, Cody will start hitting my arm with his paw or worse yet....tries to put his entire head in my food. It is TOTALLY my fault!!
Oh, the title of this post is nothing but the truth. You kitties must think us humans are so silly for thinking "no" would be a part of your vocabulary. But, Cody, I can't say I blame you - that food looks delicious!
Cody, I lift a forkful of whatever The Hubby has made for a meal, to Angel or Chuck to sniff. Rarely do they try to take a lick, but I figure it's only fair.
Not to my Angel Bobo it wasn't. He was a super sensitive and intuitive cat....if I said "No!" He immediately stopped doing whatever it was that he shouldn't have been doing and would look remorseful. Not Cody! lol
lol! "Focused" is an understatement! He is a determined cuss! He is my dinner date every night lol. Tonight he was upset. I had shrimp and believe it or not, he doesn't like shrimp
We do believe you are hungry fur those yummy looking noms, Cody!!

ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
Such look of desire, MOL! Did you get a little? Here, Pierrot attends the dinner show every night in hopes of something good.
ReplyDeleteGreat pic!

DeleteThat does look like really good eating Cody. Good boy for not grabbing it. We hope you got a little taste.
ReplyDeleteMom begs to differ. I was NOT a good boy...I "grab" every night! It's all Mom's fault because she DOES share. Then she wonders why I do this! Love, Cody

cats have no concept of the negative.
ReplyDeleteIt's tempting isn't it Cody.
ReplyDelete"No" just means "not when you're looking." Don't the humans know that by now?
ReplyDeleteJackpot Cody!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo means steal it and run!

"No" is a foreign concept to cats.
ReplyDeleteNot to my Angel Bobo it wasn't. He was a super sensitive and intuitive cat....if I said "No!" He immediately stopped doing whatever it was that he shouldn't have been doing and would look remorseful. Not Cody! lol
DeleteNo is not a word for us.
ReplyDeleteWhen my human says no, I give head bumps, I purr. It works.
