Mom is having some BIG TIME kidney stone issues right now, so we are gonna be doing a lot of the above this weekend!!! Just hangin' in there! Hope you all have a great weekend!
Relaxing sounds like a great idea. My wife had a kidney stone and it is not fun. Tell mom to drink lots of water and I hope this passes... literally. :)
OMC that really hurts. Granny had them too :( Tell your mom that she has to jump a lot, so the colics don't hurt so much and maybe she can get rid of them faster. Take good care of your mom, Cody...well, at least in between the..hanging :D Healing Pawkisses :) <3
Oh your POOR Granny!!!!!! Yeah..unfortunately mine will NEVER go away because of a condition I have (medullary sponge kidneys), I always have stones, all the time...they just don't always act up (which they are doing now). I laughed at the JUMPING part....I HAVE done that before! I did that when one was stuck for 8 days and wouldn't come out...I jumped up and down and it came out. But....mine will never be completely gone...ever......when they are "sleeping" it's all good, but when they get "cranky" which they are now.......that is when I have trouble. But...I am much better today than I was yesterday! xoxoxoxo to you and your Granny!!
Your plan sure looks purrfect, Cody. But, I wish it wasn't because your mom's not feeling well. We're sending her lots and lots of purrs, barks, and prayers!
That is a good idea Cody. Snuggle with your mom and help her feel better. Caren, I am sorry those rotten kidney stones are playing up again and hope you soon get relief from them.
dood...pleez ta tell yur mom ta give this a try: pomegranate juice if her likes it; magnesium orotate { 300 mg } if her iz inta vitaminz; dandelion root { 500 mg times twice } if her iz inta herbz, and basil; one tsp mixed with raw honey every day, N her shuld stay a way frum tea ....her mite all reddy noe thiz stuff but... just in case
heerz two a bicolor goat fish kinda week oh end ♥♥♥
@da tabbies: thanks so much!! Yes......my Mom knows about tea thank you!!!!!! She appreciates the concern! Mom's condition is congenital. Not just one or two occasional stones, but HUNDREDS...ALL DAY EVERY DAY. They are NEVER gonna go away......that's the type of kidneys she has, their job is to MAKE stones. Mom manages it by drinking LOTS of water with lemon (not fake lemon, not lemonade but REAL LEMON JUICE)....that (usually) keeps the stones to a "passable" size. Mom only has trouble if one gets big and blogs something, or when they get "cranky" (cranky means when they start moving)........but THANK YOU!!! xoxoxo Love, Cody Mom's condition is called medullary sponge kidneys....they are a type of kidney whose JOB is to make stones.
Oh no!!! We're so sorry to hear your mom is having kidney stone issues. We know how horribly painful that is for her. We're confident you and Dakota are up to the task of showering her with love and comfort. Please tell her we're thinking about her and hope she feels better soon. xo Katie & Waffles
Caren,so sorry about your kidney stones. I belong to the same club of the hundreds of stones. Do the NO caffeine, and you already do the water thing. I also so either cranberry juice or cranberry pills it helps a little bit. Do the chillin thing and try to relax. yeah right I know. Hope you get to felling some what better soon.
Ohhhh nooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Do you have MSK?????? Did you know that COFFEE is ok........tea is not. I stopped tea many years ago (and I used to LOVE iced tea). Tea has more caffeine than coffee. Also...since my stones are oxalate stones cranberry juice/pills is not super good for me either. I am sooooooo sorry you have to go through this too!!! xoxo
Cody you found the best thing to do during the week end. We are sorry for your mom. My "Papy" had (several times) the same problem. He told me that is really painful ! I am sending lots of healing purrs to her. Ronrons Hisia
