My day was MADE when I visited one of my favorite blogs, Hauspanther by Kate Benjamin and saw the most ADORABLE, COLORFUL and FUN "Cat Houses" called Meowses Awesome Cat Houses featured on her blog.

The idea for MEOWSES was developed by Dan Parkes and Jesse Levine of Brooklyn, NY, in collaboration with the creative team at PB&J Design, Inc.  MEOWSES are the group’s solution to "bulky, drab, and cookie cutter cat houses,” says Dan. The top priority of MEOWSES was to create something that was fun, functional, and space saving, with truly unique designs that would serve as a conversation piece in any cat lover’s home.

“Cats have an endless fascination with boxes,” says Jesse, “and as designers we knew we could use this canvas to create designs that were in line with our lifestyles, giving us the opportunity to create a product that would be fun for both our cats and us."

Supported by the successful product development background of PB&J Design, Dan and Jesse knew exactly the steps they  needed to take in order to successfully launch a new product line.  They spent an extensive amount of time researching and developing prototypes, interviewing with potential vendors, and lining up the right partners to ensure that every component was in place, giving us them the  ability to deliver the very best quality product possible. 

If the campaign is a success, they  will use the funds raised to cover initial production start up costs, including cutting dies, printing plates, meeting minimum order quantities and covering fulfillment center costs. Dan and Jesse are proud to say that if  they meet their goal, 100% of the manufacturing will be right here in the USA!

 FROM CAT CHAT WITH CAREN AND CODY:When I viewed these insanely fun houses and learned that Dan and Jesse are from Brooklyn, NY (where my parents were from!) I HAD to jump on board! I donated $30 to their campaign because I soooo want these houses to go into production! Cats will go crazy for them!!!! There are different donation levels, on the $30 level I will receive (if they reach $25,000 funded) the Medicate Catnip Dispensary featured below:
