This is gonna be one fun month! Mom is going to be attending the Miami-Ft.Lauderdale Pet Expo on November 15th, (thanks to our furiends at Nutrish), and then the week after she will attend the Novi Pet Expo, right in our own back yard!
The 11th Annual Novi Pet Expo, November 21-23 at
the Suburban Collection Showplace, is chock full of family fun for pet lovers
of all ages! The Pet Expo welcomes international Positive training
advocate Victoria Stilwell, of Animal Planet’s Its Me Or The Dog, www.positively.com, and her network of Michigan-based
trainers, demonstrating methods and techniques to improve your relationship
with the canine members of the family. Mom met her at BarkWorld last year and she was just fabulous! Mom can't wait to see her again!

Metro Detroit’s most popular family pet
store, Premier Pet Supply of Beverly Hills, will again offer the Pet
Expo Superstore, with an excellent and inexpensive selection of pet items and
treats, too. (Purrfect! That means I should be getting some loot brought home to ME!!)

The Pet Expo will also feature the American Rare Breeds
Dog Show and TICA Cat Show, big feathered fun with John Lege,
aka That Guy with the Birds, Ultimate Air Dogs dock diving
feats, Rock N Roll K9s dazzling agility demos, the Michigan
Herpetology Society with 50+ reptilian and amphibian species (I think Mom is gonna scoot by this one, she is terrified of snakes!) --and most
importantly, a wide array of Michigan pet rescues and shelters with adoptable
animals seeking homes. The Michigan Humane Society will also be on
hand to share valuable information about their community programs, and offer
tips on integrating a new furry member into your family. More event details

visit the show to see how you can save $2.00 off admission with a contribution
of pet food or supplies for the Michigan Humane Society. Well-behaved canine
citizens are welcome with proof of current vaccination status—but NO
retractable leashes, please! Admission $10.00 Adults, Children 6-12, $5.00, 5
and Under, Free! Friday Noon-8pm, Saturday 10 am-8 pm, Sunday, 11am-5 pm.
Friday Nov 21 is Senior Day, 55+, $5.00.

DeleteMy human wishes we could travel to more cat shows, like the TICA one here, but for a spayed kitty, I would have to be at least a clear national contender to make it worth our while! 'Cause I'm just in it for the ribbons - since I'm not breeding, there's no actual value for me.

thanks my furiend! Mom probably won't bring back much for me because for ONCE I got waaay more stuff when Mom went to Barkworld/Meowworld than Dakota did! She feels guilty so will probably get him something :)
DeleteI love Premier Pet Supply; I drive for an hour to get there from home! I wish they'd do something like this on the East Side; Novi is a loooong way from Lake St. Clair!
