Animal lovers across the planet will honor these loving babies
by lighting candles on the exact same day.
I am a rescue kitty.
I was blessed that I had an amazing foster mother and was adopted by my Mom at a young age, but things could have been different.

Today I want to acknowledge animals who weren't as lucky as me and pray for those who are still waiting to be adopted. May they all find loving homes.

DeleteIt's heartbreaking to think of the precious babes who through no fault of their own , never had a chance at finding a home. Thanks for reminding us of this day Caren. We will light a candle and remember and hope that one day the world will get it right and all animals who come into the world will be welcomed into a loving home.
ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
you are so right my friend. I can never bear to look at the cats in cages anymore at Shelters. I am too weak, it is too painful. You are welcome, I am happy to see so many taking part! Much love to all of you!
DeleteWhat a beautiful day! I didn't know about it until today, or I would have posted it about it myself. We are definitely going to light a candle in remembrance of those less fortunate than us, and count our blessings that we were adopted into a loving home. We wish that could be true for all furries. Thanks for posting about this, Cody.
ReplyDeleteWe do dare to dream one day that every pet have a blessed forever home like our beloved pets do.... xoxoxo
