Eww, those are all nasty looking critters. Maybe we will stop complaining when mama gives us our Revolution each month or when she says we need a vet visit. Thanks for the info.
I agree with Sometimes, Cats Herd You. I don't want any of those either and neither do my pals. My pal, Barney took one look at that list and hid under the bed, he was so scared.
Seriously though, that is GREAT INFORMATION. Anyone new to blogging or new to even having a cat should check this out. I had the general knowledge but I think I'm going to keep it aside for reference.
Well, that was definitely a post that made my skin crawl. But a very informative one nonetheless! thanks for sharing this very important info! ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Mum is reading with me just after dinner, it's a good idea for not having any idea of dessert craving tonight. It's scary ! Angel Loupi got once stomach worms (because he hadn't let Mum put him the worm treatment on time...), he told me it was just awful !!! Purrs
Worms worms worms. Make us glad to be insiders but still Dad worms us regularly as they spread with flea bites and even with our regular treatments we can have a bite or two Yuck
OK, I have a really gross worm story. I was volunteering at a shelter and this little kitten had what I thought was a hairball ...it wasn't, it was a big pile of round worms. At first, I thought it was spaghetti, but then they moved! It was so traumatizing for both the kitten and me! She had just received de-wormer earlier in the day and I guess, it was working!
Great (wwwww) infographic…thanks for sharing - a lot of people are shocked when they learn what the worms actually look like! We have had a lot of experience treating ringworm…and as awful as it is, I am thankful it's not actually a worm..because with tiny foster kittens off the street we see a lot of those too…again, eeeewwwwww!

DeleteIt's ALL worms - this is just so interesting (and a bit creepy!)
ReplyDeleteThese worms go hand in hand with fleas. We should really have our pets checked for those nasty parasites.
