This post first appeared on Saturday, March 9th , 2013. Because I am too lazy to create anything new, I am repeating it today with a slight modification. Daylight Savings time arrives for those in the U.S, (and other places in the Northern Hemisphere), . at 2:00am Sunday, March 9th!
What does it mean for me?
Doesn't matter......my sleep routine will NEVER change!
It's going to be an even earlier Sunday morning cleaning the shelter than usual... groan. But I do love seeing the cats! If we're lucky, some of them will have gone home this week! Thanks for the reminder.
you poor thing! My heart goes out to you!! But.....the good thing is that some of the babies might be going to their furever home! Yessssssss!! You are most welcome! Have a great day!
Humans are SO SILLY! Even we kitties understand that there are only so many hours of light and darkness in the day no matter WHAT the Humans decide to call them! Honestly.
Ours don't change yet but when they do we too will ignore it as it is after all only for peeps methinks. Have a serene Sunday Cody and get in some big easy today. Best wishes Molly
It feels like spring today…sort of….well, ok, not really! And we went back to bed for an hour AFTER we got up "on time" to feed the cats of the house…MOL!
Hahaha! We DID forget until this morning ... we were supposed to meet our friends for breakfast. Thank COD we have Moosey, aka "Mr. Alarm Clock," who reminded us it was time for him, Gracie and Zoe to eat! :)
I would so love daylight savings again...but we don't have it in Brisbane. The rest of Australia does, but not our state - apparently it would interrupt the farmers and milking schedules of the cows. Ridiculous I know...but that's how the argument against it goes.
Yup, we are just about as enthusiastic about springing forward here too :-)
ReplyDeleteMOL! At least I am in good company!
DeleteGood for you, Cody! We'd like to throw our alarm clocks into the litter box!
ReplyDeletemy Mom says to take hers too! Love, Cody
DeleteBinga says yay, she gets food an hour earlier!
ReplyDeleteWell...clock or no clock I get food an hour earlier! All I have to do is act EXTRA annoying...Love, Cody
DeleteI just wish the humans would leave Father Time alone and let Mother Nature be large and in charge!
ReplyDeleteAMEN!
