I'm going to the CFA show in VT this weekend...didn't enter Truffles though :(
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun show. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Are you going to enter Cody?
ReplyDeleteI don't think Carmine, Milita, or Jewel would enjoy being around so many people, but it sounds like lots of fun to go see!
Noooo not entering him, he likes people but don't think he would be thrilled about the other cats lol
DeleteSound verfy fun to be there
ReplyDeleteI think it would be too!
DeleteDon't think I can handle this. There will be too many cats for me! LOL!
ReplyDelete~Eva
OMC Eva!! Thank you for the much needed laugh! xoxo
DeleteMom used to show her HHPs at shows before we moved here. Angel Tamir was in lots of shows!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
that is so cool!
DeleteThat would be fun to visit, but we don't think we would want to participate. Only Newton likes strangers that much, and he doesn't behave well in confined spaces like cages. Are you going to visit and report back for us?
ReplyDeleteprobably not this one because it is further away, but down the road I will. As I mentioned before, I HAVE gone to a Dog Show and blogged about it on Dakota's blog. The dog show is usually right by our house and easier to get to. One day I will!
DeleteLucy wants to enter… until I told her she'd have to travel to MI. She doesn't like traveling to the corner.
ReplyDeletewe could hire a limo :)
DeleteI was going to ask if you were going to enter Cody, and then I saw the rule about willing to be handled by a judge.......MOL!!!! Sounds like it might be a lot of fun though!
ReplyDeleteactually Cody is incredibly friendly! It's Dakota who isn't. Cody was adopted at a young age and had been used to being transported to PetCo adoption events. He was used to being handled frequently. He LOVES being held and handled. When he was neutered the vet nicknamed him "Cuddle Bug" because they said all he wanted to do was cuddle, the vet techs there adore him. He wouldn't have a problem with a judge at all, but no, not entering him.
DeleteYou doing a report on it :-)
ReplyDeletedoubt it because it isn't that close to where I live. I HAVE done blog posts for the dog shows, (there is one coming up in January too that is much closer to my home)........depends on if I have to read a book to review that weekend or not.........
Deletewhat fun.....mom went to a show near here a few years ago and it was neat to see all the cats. and a local cat rescue was featured and had adoptable cats there - and one of their cats won the household division!!
ReplyDeletethat is so cool! Yes, there are ALL types of cats there, pure bred cats as well as housecats. So neat that one of the local rescue cats won!
DeleteThis is why I don't like CFA, my cats are declawed and they aren't allowed to join. Plus, since their a Purebred, and registered I would only go to TICA and Nico&Anya are Show Quality Ragdolls, not a mixed-bred, so I wouldn't take them to a "Household Show".
ReplyDeleteBut over all it sounds like fun and I think you should take Cody! :-)
Ragdoll Mommy~
Sound as like a great show!!! Good luck to anyone who enters!
ReplyDelete((Husky hugz))
When Mom was a kid, she took her house cat to cat shows all the time. The cat wasn't thrilled, but Mom loved it. Now she has no desire to show cats or dogs but she is glad she has done it.
ReplyDeletelooks like a fun event,xx Rachel
ReplyDeleteNot one of our three qualify which is a good thing - I hear it is downright freezing in Michigan.
ReplyDeleteit's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY below freezing (and that is our HIGH)........has been like this the past 2 days, tomorrow we will reach a high of a "balmy" 14.......the day before yesterday we got a foot of snow. Saying "cabin fever" is an understatement
DeleteI bet there will be a lot of beautiful kitties there. So would love to go. Wish I lived closer.
ReplyDeleteSue B
You should do that Cody, you would be a paw in!
ReplyDeleteHey that Pepper kitty, looks like someone we know! That is cool that they have that category. We think it takes a very easy-going, brave kitty to purrticipate in the shows for sure.
ReplyDeleteHow cool! MMM would win weirdest in show!
ReplyDeletethat is soooooooooooooooooo mean!!! Don't say that!! Cody would win strangest mouth! lol
DeleteHaha! It's said with love. . . but the truth hurts, yes? Poor Cody! He just has character. Sorry, MMM is just plain strange looking, like a kitty alien. And I won't even mention her nekked butt.
DeleteIf mes lived there, mes could enter and wins for being the LOUDEST cat!!!
ReplyDeleteStay Warm
Kisses
Nellie
Well it's about time house cats got their time in the limelight. This sounds like a fun show but most of the cats I know (looking around my house) don't do well in crowds. Oh wait, Miss Georgia, aka the Diva, says she would pose for the cameras.
ReplyDeleteI obviously can't go as I live on the other side of the world, but I love cat shows. Have a lovely Caturday.
ReplyDeleteNow that looks like super fun!!!!!
