Having both a cat and a long-haired dog that leave fur and paw prints EVERYWHERE, I am always on the prowl for a product that will remove pet hair and paw prints from furniture. I have tried MANY. I will say that SwiPets worked much better than the majority of the products I have tried, and I am happy to share them with you!
No Cody, it is actually BOTH of you who leave a trail of fur wherever you go, but to test SwiPets it was actually YOUR fur and mess that I decided to test it on.
Cody likes to hang out in the dining room on our black suede chairs. I can always tell when he has been there because of this:
EXHIBIT A |
AND
EXHIBIT B |
Enter SwiPets!
This is the 2-glove package
the package I received to try
had the single glove
which looked like this:
SwiPets:
- are designed with a "high-tech" coating
- are machine washable
- they pick up dirt and dander
- reduce allergens
It was time to put SwiPets to the test:
I pulled out my glove |
and went to work!
But it wasn't work!
It was a breeze!
Look at the cat hair
that SwiPets was picking up!
AND
one important note!
Because I didn't read
the package correctly
and I didn't use the SwiPet in a circular motion,
I had to vacuum the remaining hair on the chair
that was MY FAULT
and NOT the fault of the product!!
REMEMBER EXHIBIT A?
SwiPets cleaned that as well!
I give SwiPets
4 paws up!
Enter to win!
The kind lady at SwiPets has offered to have a give-away and ONE LUCKY PERSON (who is 18 and over) and who RESIDES IN THE U.S. will win a SwiPets package (probably the one that I received which is a $9.99 value.)
To enter just leave a comment telling me you would like to win! That's it!
The give-away is open now and will END ON WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 5TH AT 5PM. THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN BY RANDOM.ORG AND WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH. GOOD LUCK!
Can't wait to see if you won and want to order your SwiPets NOW? Visit their website right here
In full Disclosure: I was not compensated for this review/give-away. I was sent a SwiPets glove to test, and to give my honest opinion. I only share products that I feel will be of benefit to my readers.
That looks like a great product, interesting review.
ReplyDeleteMy human asked me to enter this contest and I am insulted - she should be TREASURING my fur! Oh well, maybe she is thinking of Boodie's.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant product! We're always saying that people have no idea cat lives here (since Sammy's so shy) until they sit down on something and get cat hair on their clothes (!!). Vacuuming it up once a week is fine but noisy and this great glove idea is not only QUIET but looks like it's most efficient! YAY! At last!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Cool product! Anything that removes fur and doesn't require the fur-sucking machine is a pawesome idea.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. She had all mine stolen as she was fed up with my muddy furs. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I would love to have this—thanks for the opportunity to win one!

Mom has a pair of those 99 cent rubber gloves for cleaning to remove fur from everything. It works awesome and is much less expensive than the lint roller things that you need to tear off about 100 sheets to get anything defurred. These look pretty interesting and with two cats and three dogs, we would love to give them a try. Consider us entered.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win! I have 3 cats so this is so needed.
ReplyDeleteOoo Ooo please enter us... this sounds like something we (Mom) needs!
ReplyDeletepee ess: don't worry Cody, we KNOW it was *the dog* MOL!
We've tried so many different things like this, and are always disappointed. We finally got leather furniture because I couldn't take it anymore! This one looks like it might be better though....great review!
ReplyDeletethanks so much Jan and good luck!
DeleteDefinetely dog hair, Cody...but I think we can use that too. Never saw it, so this opens possibilities for our carpet. Pawkisses :)
ReplyDeleteI would be super delighted if this works. Could save my sanity! :-)
ReplyDeleteAhhh!! That whole time I was reading this post, I was like, OMD I have to find one of those! (3 Huskies= tons of fur) And then I started reading about the giveaway, I was like YAY! Then..........U.S residents only :( Awwwww!!! That just sucks!!!!
ReplyDeleteNot your fault I know Caren! There are so many giveaways that are U.S only :(
Looks like a wonderful product and you did a great review on it as well!
((husky hugz frum da pack))
Jenna I know and I am SO SORRY!!!!!! THANK YOU for understanding that it isn't my fault. I read a lot of UK product blogs and the same thing happens to me. It is out of my hands, I have to respect the manufacturer's decision (or the PR firm if that is who contacted me)....more often than not there are valid reasons for why they won't ship out of the country and I DEEPLY, DEEPLY APOLOGIZE!!! Thanks again for understanding! xoxo
DeleteOooooh, this would make our mommy so happy! She says our hair is EVERYWHERE (as if that's a bad thing).
ReplyDeleteWow, those look so pawsome! Mommy says to please enter us in that contest. If she doesn't win, she is buying some of those things for sure. You can imagine how much pet fur the eight of us leave in our wakes. Our e-mail in case we win: janet.blue@thecatonmyhead.com. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo.
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks good to us. What a great idea and a good review too. We sure would like to win one of those. Needless to say, we have tons of hair here. Take care and have a great day.
ReplyDeletethanks so much Marg and good luck!
ReplyDeleteGreat review! I think someone used those on the top of my Dad's head...tis bare up there!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this product before, and like that there are two gloves for faster cleaning. Thanks for the chance to win one!
ReplyDeleteRene Hi! I hadn't heard of the product either until now. I am not sure if the winner is receiving TWO gloves or ONE....I received ONE......so it might be that. They are machine washable as well.......thanks for entering and good luck!

ReplyDeleteLily
I would love to win. This would be very useful for our blue climber. I really have a hard time getting cat hair off of that. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSue B
That sounds like a fantastic product and is very good to learn about.
ReplyDeleteThere is no dog here, but we're sure that all the fur everywhere is dog fur. It's an interesting product that Mum would like to try, though. She just forgot that we're not US resident... Purrs
ReplyDeleteI have 2 hairy dogs and 2 hairy cats and I would love to win this to help get rid of hair on my furniture!
ReplyDeleteMy human thinks that it is a very useful product. Not for me off course. I am a perfect cat so … I don’t leave my hair on the furniture!
ReplyDeleteI just enjoy walking on top of her car …

ReplyDeleteLooks brilliant! Is it coming to the UK anytime soon? :0
ReplyDeleteour mom wants her name entered to win the gloves. Jax and I have no idea why she thinks she needs such a thing; we think our fur adds to the beauty of our favorite chair.
ReplyDeletesay hi to Cody! (I guess we should include Dakota too)
Ting Ting
That looks like a great product, and I could really put it to use. Please enter me in the contest.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this because Jynxx is a very furry kitty.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win! I've never had such a furry kitty before! This would be wonderful! Especially on my blanket! And everywhere else Quinn's fur gets left!

ReplyDeleteWill have to look for these in Canada.
ReplyDeleteI (or we, at Moggiepurrs) would LOVE to win this glove.
ReplyDeleteJust signed up to follow you. Love your site!
@Moggiepurrs GOOD LUCK and THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for your kind words!! I love yours too and as you know, I am following!! :)
ReplyDeleteSure, we'd LOVE to win that thing! Well, the Human would. I don't see why she can't just leave the furs I so thoughtfully deposit right where I put them. Pfft.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win. We have 3 big long haired cats. We have fur everywhere!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea..i use a wet pair of normal rubber gloves to get excess hair off the kitties..that way I avoid the I have had enough brushing whap..they just think i'm patting them bwahahaah ..and yes hair everywhere ...four cats two dogs...no black upholstery ...:) hugs Fozziemum xxx
ReplyDeleteInteresting product! To be honest, I've always used the budget-conscious (aka free, lol!) method of my own bare hand, misted with water, over sofas, chairs, and even bed covers (which works really well, by the way). For anyone who goes through roll after roll of lint-roller sheets, though, this looks like a great option. :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
I have cats and a dog and my husband is always complaining about all the hair! I'd love to give these a try!
