Cody we feel your pain - we're in the same boat - the Deadskins (oops I mean Redskins) had a HORRIFIC year.....one depressing week after another....sigh....here's hoping we aren't pulling our hair out again NEXT year!!
Those darn Lions! I had picked them in my football pool too....figures! Sorry, maybe I jinxed them. :) Did your Mom end up going to the game, Cody? I bet she wasn't happy if she did!
oh no!! You picked them??!! You poor thing! Yeah they were favored by like 9 points right? Geeze. You didn't jinx them. They just don't care. Nope, Mom stayed home with Dakota and I because she knew what was gonna happen. We normally eat between 4 and 6pm and she didn't want us to have to wait til around 9pm for the losing Lions. Mom watched at home and we watched with her. Mom was soooooooooooo upset!!!
Oh noes! What happened! Awwwww! Well maybe next time! Not that we know what's going on but them Lions better buck up and do better cos you've told them lovely Cody! Happy Holidays!! Take care x
Sorry Old Kitty, should have linked to the loss that cost them a possible place in the playoffs. They have been a blundering mess for their last 6 games at least, now they are DONE! MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!! xoxo
Well I suppose you could thank them for not eating you. (What Mommy) Oh Mommy says they aren't those kind of lions, what other kind are there? What is football? Looks like I needs to do some research.
Mrs, Caren I love love love the toy. Thanks you and Cody for giving me the chance to win it. I am going to meow more about it December 26th. ~Scylla
Whoa! You’re even a worse loser than TW, if that’s possible. Yeah, the TW who screams at the TV all through baseball season YOU SUCK [fill in the blank] cos they struck out or gave up a hit. No wonder you guys get along. Would be fun to see you together at a game. MOL!
Oops, sorry to read that. I've explained to Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar that you are referring to "football". But not the type of football she is used to. She yawned and went back to sleep :)
That last loss was so painful…but possibly predictable. We were so excited when they beat the Packers on Thanksgiving. As I have said for one hundred years…."oh well, there is always next year."
Did they lose? so did the Dolphins. Can we redo this day?
ReplyDeleteyep they lost, BIG TIME! I heard the Dolphins are still probably going to be in the playoffs though
ReplyDeleteyes scorewise they did, but the Lions have no chance to go to the playoffs, the Bears do
ReplyDeleteSorry your team tanked, Cody.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it they play again?
Baseball???

ReplyDeleteNow, now Cody. It' doesn't do to be bitter. At least you HAVE a team. The 49ers will be the Santa Clara 49ers next year. Pfft. Who needs 'em anyway?
ReplyDeleteare you kidding me? The 49ers are MOVING???!!!

ReplyDeleteIt could be worse, you could be Redskins.

ReplyDeleteLily

ReplyDeleteI am hoping in 2014 they can make a GREAT come-back and win against EVERYONE they play against!

ReplyDeleteSue B

DeleteYou have a great Monday too dear furiend!
They didn't behave like LIONS, did they? Sigh!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the lost, Cody!
~Eva
they sure didn't!
DeleteHa ha - we sympathize with you - our team lost too.
ReplyDeleteyeah I know but we RULED our Division a few weeks ago. Kicked butt with your team and Chicago when we were 6-3...then it ALL fell apart.
DeleteBummer Cody.
ReplyDeleteSince they are Lions do you think they would like a meal of Seahawks?
Meowy Christmas,
Cindi Lou & The Kitty Krew
