HAPPY FRIDAY ALL!!! Yep your eyes ARE NOT playing tricks on you, that IS a rabbit featured above and NOT a CAT! This is Cody and it does my heart GOOD to share this special info for you from our furiends at Michigan Humane.
Many people don't realize that along with cats and dogs that are available for adoption, there are other pets that need furever homes too!!!! Whomever adopts them will have a wonderful new member of the family and MHS will throw in some extra goodies for their new companion!!

"Hank" photo courtesy of Michigan Human ATTENTION KITTIES!! Don't get TOO excited looking at Hank! He is NOT FOR CHASING!! He is for someone to adopt to give him a LOVING HOME!!! |
The Michigan Humane Society is the largest and oldest animal welfare organization in the state. MHS works to end companion animal homelessness, provide the highest quality service and compassion to the animals entrusted to our care, and to be a leader in promoting humane values.
I sorry to inform you that you are wrong. Hank IS for chasing. But the humans always spoil our fun and protect the little rodents from our "playful" grasp. Even worse, they let the little rodents roll around the house in the protective plastic ball. Those things are scary! Maybe rats and rabbits don't get exercise balls, but hamsters do and they are frightening. It's like Halloween every night around here!
ReplyDeleteHopefully Hank and all the other furries get good forever homes where they are loved (and not chased too much).
My cats love rabbit cat treats! And yes I really mean cat treats made out of real rabbit! Lol.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they all get a loving home!
Oh I hear ya! Cody actually ONLY eats rabbit due to allergies. He eats Royal Canin prescription formula canned rabbit and their dry rabbit kibble :)
DeleteI'm actually gonna go get Nico&Anya some new food today! Yay!
DeleteOkay... Nico&Anya are now eating Evolve cat food. It's a great and very healthy cat food!
DeleteStar&Saphira eat it too:-)

Molly we hope so too! Ohhhh THANK YOU!!!!!! I am thrilled with it! It is so rejuvenating! It actually makes my CRAP look GOOD! lol. Nothing exciting here for Halloween because we aren't allowed to have trick or treaters in our condo complex :(
DeleteHope yours was great! xoxoxoxo
Oh heavens, I want that wabbit, I wonder how many wabbits I could buy and not have Mom find out. It is impressive to see these critters on a cat blog, and alive. I hope their events will be a success!
ReplyDeleteDat Rabbit is so cute. As for the mousie - well I am a cat and he looks mighty tempting. (Looking around to see if anyone is looking). Sigh, guess I had better NOT.

ReplyDeleteSpitty, upon further reflection, posting this on a CAT blog might NOT have been a good idea! lol. Should have posted it on Dakota's xoxoxo
DeleteJust one question !
ReplyDeleteCouldn´t it be a little bit OK to chase Hunk a little bit ?!
XOXO
you made me smile this morning...well....maybe just a little bit! xoxo
DeleteThat is an EXCELLENT thing to do for these cute little animals!! One of our local shelters also has small pets, like rabbits and hamsters for adoption, too. A lot of people tend to forget these little babies need homes, too. We hope that many animals get adopted into very loving, wonderful homes during November!!
ReplyDeleteyou are so right! I have to be honest, I had forgotten about them too!
DeleteMHS is such a great organization, and we are glad they are holding this terrific event. WE hope LOTS of animals get adopted as a result. :)
ReplyDeletethanks so much for your kind words about MHS. I often hate the bad rap that they get. As you know, they are doing the best that they can! xoxo
DeleteThis is awesome :) The Humane Society in Rochester is a really nice facility. They helped me out several years back when the cat I had needed to be put down. I really like the TGIFFF idea.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to adopt Hank please. Put him on ice and send him as quickly as possible.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the story of my almost escape is on my blog if you didn't see it.
OMC, I've never seen so many different animals in my life! I didn't know this kind of species even existed! I need to get out more, I only get to meet my staff and the fishes around here. I hope they find good homes though!
ReplyDeleteMOL CARLOS!! See what you learn when you get around? :) Seriously, thanks for stopping by and we hope you will visit more often! xoxo
