Oh my cat am I excited about this news!
This is Cody, and back in 2011 Mom and I reviewed an adorable book by author Wendy Wahman, called "A Cat Like That."
Along with the book, Wendy Wahman created an amazing video trailer, that along with Henri, Shark Cat and Grumpy Cat were selected from over 7000 video submissions to be FINALISTS in the competition and will be a part of the catvidfest2013. A U.S. Tour Will Follow!
Here is Wendy's video!
The Internet Cat Video Festival will be held August 28th at 7pm at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand. If you can make it you just might be lucky and meet the cool cat ladies from Minnesota, Glogirly and Catladyland! How much fun would THAT BE?
Concatulations to Wendy!
VERY cute video!!!
ReplyDeleteWe'll be at the CatVidFest with bells on! ( ok, no bells really...but we'll be there!)
xo
wish we could be there too!
DeleteOooh, wish I could go too. Be sure to whoop and woo hoo when my vid plays. xo

DeleteIndeed concatulations to Wendy. Well done. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We agree!Well done Wendy! You have a super Saturday too!
DeleteThank you!
DeleteAw, that is too cute!
ReplyDeleteyep it is! Guess what? Cody's head is staying "status quo", isn't getting any worse, so the coconut oil must be working. It is just a tiny red mark so I am not going to put him back on the prednisonol unless I have to. If the coconut oil just keeps the red mark as small as it is, I will be happy! ((((hugs))))
DeleteThanks!
DeleteOh goody for Cody! I hope that ol' red mark goes away, fingers and paws crossed! I'm so glad my vet mentioned the coconut oil 'in passing' and I listened! Seems like everything important he mentions in passing when I think he should stress it! But still, look how many kitties have been helped since the coconut revolution took off, MOL! I don't know how old Cody is, but Star, at 14, acts like a younger cat when she gets the oil regularly, it's good stuff all around!
DeleteAww, I'm sorry Cody threw up his coconut oil! I didn't know that happened if they got too much. Probably a good thing I don't let Star eat as much as she wants out of the jar any more.. A quarter teaspoon is supposedly the recommended dosage for kitties. Sometimes Star gets a half teaspoon if she's really into it. I'm a pushover. But I'm going to be careful from now on too!
Deleteoh Andrea it is ok! It was my fault. I gave him too much yesterday (he LOVES it!) I knew last night when I gave it to him I had given him a little too much for the day. I'm not going to give him more til late tonight. It DOES seem to be helping though! :)
DeleteThat's such a sweet video!
ReplyDeleteit most definitely is!
DeleteThank you!!
DeleteOh Cody thanks for sharing Miss Wendy's video.....it was REALLY adorable....and sweet....and dear.....and made Mommy cry a little because she thought it was "touching" (whatever THAT means!!).
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday, Sammy
Oh Sammy!! You are sooooo sentimental! My Mom loved it too...she loves the voice in the video, it is so "cat-like!" Love, Cody

DeleteWow! Thank you everyone, and especially dear Cody and Carin, for sharing my exciting news. This was the first book trailer I ever made, which makes it even more surprising to be picked. "A Cat Like That" helps young children (and their adults) be gentle and safe with kitties. You can read more about it on Amazon, Goodreads or Macmillan's site. http://us.macmillan.com/author/wendywahman
