It's National Hug Your Cat Day!

I know, I know if you have a cat you do this EVERY DAY,  but today actually is:

In honor of this special day, I am posting some of my favorite "hug" photos, beginning with my Angel Bobo and of course my cuddle-bug Cody!

Now go and HUG your cat and if you don't have one, consider adopting a cat  (June is ADOPT A  CAT MONTH) or volunteering at a shelter today to give some HUGS to some cats who are in dire need of some lovin'!



Cats And Hugs
It's a proven fact that hugs from animals and giving hugs to animals will lower a persons blood pressure. Pets have the ability to stimulate their caregivers by decreased stress. There appears to be strong evidence that having a pet can help a person lead a longer, healthier life.

    Happy Hug your cat day! I'll pass on hugging Honey Delite, but will be sure to give her lots of pets and some delicious noms. I'm not sure how she'd do with hugs just yet...

    We get hugs and kisses every day but Mama says we get special hugs today. She will be at the shelter tomorrow so she will do some hugging there too.

    Oh good, now when I hug my cats today, and they squirm and struggle, I can tell them they have to put up with it today! :)

    I think it's healthier for TW if she doesn't hug me. MOL! I did let Pop pick me up and hug me this morning to keep him happy. The rest of the week will be spent keeping ME happy.

    That is such a cute graphic…different than the other one (which we like as well) and so much fun. All the huggy photos must bring back so many lovely memories. Though not all of us love huggies, we all lined up for at least one from Dad and one from Mom yesterday. We figured we could indulge them for one day each year.
