I have some things I want to write about, but want to process everything in my mind, and organize my notes and thoughts first.
Being a "foodie", I found the meals at BlogPaws 2013 to be quite pleasing to the palate! My husband often teases me, saying that I can remember every meal I have ever eaten and can provide the dates and times that the meals were consumed. For those who have seen me that comes as no surprise!
So, feast your eyes on some of the bounty that was at BlogPaws 2013! Kudos to the Sheraton Premiere At Tysons Corner!
The culinary delights began at the Nutrish (who was my sponsor) private dinner Wednesday night. Super delicious Tiramisu!! |
One of our delicious lunches! This is just a sampling of what we had to choose from on the buffet table. Garlic bread, salad, chicken, sausage and ravioli |
CHEESECAKE!! A BlogPaws tradition!! |
The Nose-to-Nose Awards Dinner Turkey, stuffing, Mashed potatoes in a Martini glass! There were toppings such as chives, mushrooms, and garlic to "top" your potatoes! I found the Thanksgiving cuisine to be a an unusual but brilliant choice. One, for the symbolism of giving thanks... Thanks to the BlogPaws and Pet360 team for all of their hard work making this conference a success! Two, giving thanks for being lucky enough to spend an amazing few days with some of the BEST people on the planet, PET LOVERS AND... Who DOESN'T like COMFORT FOOD? |
Cheesecake and mashed potatoes.

ReplyDeletethanks so much Clooney!! Food is important! You don't want to starve at a conference! I should be doing a post for tomorrow....gotta clear my brain out lol
DeleteTypical of my human: for the awards dinner, she topped her mashed potatoes with a generous helping of truffle oil and a BIG-ASS dollop of caviar! I wish she had packed up some of that turkey for me.
ReplyDeleteTruffle Oil????? I didn't see that!!!! Or the caviar! There was caviar?????!!

ReplyDeleteOh nooooo! I should have shipped it to you! Don't feel bad...I am in Weight Watcher's (but I haven't been there for 6 weeks...uh oh) I am busy "watching" my weight go up!
DeleteBiggest piece of cheesecake I could find and I ate it all. Two not one Danish at every breakfast. Cherries Jubilee! Geoff made a batch of cookies and I had six! I don't usually eat sweets because no one puts them in from of me, but given the chance...!
ReplyDeleteyou are so slim I am wondering where you put it? Two Danish? OMG!! I passed on the Cherries Jubilee.....thank goodness, as it is I gained 5 lbs that I most certainly DIDN'T have room for!
DeleteMom didn't have the cheesecake - she went for the chocolate. Agreed - the food was good..... Triscuit gave the turkey 4 paws up. :)

DeleteTW will NEVER forget that turkey. She didn't know turkey could be so soft and moist. MOL. All in all it wasn't as bad as the food they served at the last Blogpaws she was at where she almost starved to death. She's just happy she skipped the pizza and ate out that night.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you. That turkey was FABULOUS!!! I also agree that the food was MUCH better than the first BlogPaws I attended. I barely ate at that one too!

Deletehehehehe.........
Our mom liked the food, too. She also enjoyed meeting you and all the other crazy pet bloggers. We are enjoying some of the cat treats she brought home. We prefer cat treats to tiramisu, but we would have enjoyed some of that turkey...
ReplyDeleteMy Mom said she SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOVED MEETING YOU!!!! She thinks your Mom is sweet and adorable!!! I can't have any of the cat treats, Mom didn't bring any home. Allergies :( Love, Cody
DeleteThe food (and the company) was excellent and lots of it! Since Coco was fortunate to be able to partake of the turkey, she also gave it her paw of appurruval! Teri said she missed having bacon and sausage for breakfast, though...
