Daylight Savings time arrives for those in the U.S. at 2:00am Sunday, March 10th!
For our Friends in the U.K. and Europe, you get more sleep! Your change doesn't take place until March 31st.
What does it mean for me?
Doesn't matter......my sleep routine will NEVER change!
Glogirly says she's so thankful for her cat blogging friends, otherwise she would never have known daylight saving time was this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Cody. 16.7 hours of sleeptime a day...doesn't really matter if I start it an hour early or an hour late. heh, heh
; ) Katie
Oh no, not the dreaded time change....whatever that is. Twice a year we notice our hoomans suddenly change our routine. They wake up when they should be asleep and we get fed at a different time. We don't know what causes it but we don't like it.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Cindi Lou & The Kitty Krew
Daylight Savings Time only affects my meals. Half the time that's a good thing, and the other half, it's not.
ReplyDeleteHehehe spring is leaving us again in the UK and winter is returning tomorrow with more snow....Brrrr,xx Speedy
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder! (I always think its in April :-0)
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! It used to be...and...I prefer it the way it used to be :)
DeleteHa ha Cody that is funny. Enjoy nap time. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Molly you have a Super Saturday too!!!
DeleteMommy's glad our clocks don't change year round. :)
ReplyDeleteAs for us, the only time that matters is MEALtimes!
This just means I can go to bed at 7:30PM instead of 8:30PM tonight. LOL. Our clocks go ahead too, Cody!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder Cody! I'm with you though - - - as long as I get my naps in, it doesn't matter WHAT the clock says!
ReplyDeleteHappy Napping and Happy Caturday
Your Friend Sammy
Thanks Cody for the reminder. Mom hates getting up in the dark to feed all of us but that is just life. Hope you and your family have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteSpring is almost here! More daylight!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the reminder, Cody!! For us kitties, just means what you said... as long as the naps are not disturbed, we don't care! Purrs from the Zee and Zoey gang!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to figure out how many hours we are ahead after Sunday?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Eva
Eva, heck if I know! lol. We are moving ahead one hour :)
DeleteLove, Cody
seriously, how can it be that time of year already - I feel like it should be New Years
ReplyDeleteHa!!!!!!!!!! You and me both!! :)
DeleteM & D are already groaning cuz they'll lose an hour of sleep. Heck, I've tried to tell them to go to bed an hour early to make up for it, but humans are pretty dense sometimes. I'll probably cram in an extra nap myself.
ReplyDeletemy Mom and Dad won't go to bed early either!
DeleteI'm often up before the peeps, anyway. Now that they have to get up an hour earlier, I'll get fed an hour earlier. Sounds good to me! purrs
ReplyDeleteNo extra hours sleep in our house i can't tell the time Bol lighter nights means more walks and more time on the park with my doggy pals, now that I'm looking forward to.
ReplyDeleteSheba.
Hmmm,
ReplyDeleteMommy was working one time zone a head so some of our clocks won't be changing! The rest of the house will be catching up to Mommy.
Kisses
Nellie
you have a smart Mommy!
DeleteAll this swapping and changing. Good job us cats can sleep anytime.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder Cody... I always get confused these days because clocks do it automatically.
ReplyDeletenot in our house. We have one that we have 2 microwaves and the oven and one clock...and of course the car!
DeleteWe can't wait! It means SPRING IS COMING!!! :)
ReplyDeleteMom and I want our sleep :)
DeleteCody, is your human complaining about that? Mine is. She says she prefers to change hour in fall because she gets one more hour of sleep.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. Why wouldn't she get one more hour of sleep now?
Humans are strange.
Purrs
Ohhh YESSSSSSSSSSS she is complaining! BIG TIME! Mom HATES losing an hour sleep. She says it takes her til the clocks go BACK again to catch up :)
DeleteOh the mom is gonna be miserable tomorrow. Don't take her sleep away.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom is going to be too. She is "miserable" enough under NORMAL circumstances!! MOL! Love, Cody
DeleteI still don't get the wholenthing about chnging time, silly humans!
ReplyDeleteI don't either Brian!
DeleteWe hate day light savings time. It makes our parents grumpy.
ReplyDeleteit makes my Mom even more grumpier than she is already! Just what we need!
DeleteAha, what it actually means is that for two weeks, lucky, lucky you, are one hour closer to me and yes indeed, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar! It also means, for the next two weeks, I have to remember to phone all my friends in North America, one hour earlier than the usual time. It gets so confusing. At one time, we all went onto daylight savings at the same time.
ReplyDeletePenny's human,
Gary :)
Moms does not like springing forward; one hour less of sleep for hers! Doesn't matter to us kitties, though, we just sleep whenever we want to :)
ReplyDeleteMoms says in Indiana where she grew up, they never changed time! That has changed since she left, though. The peoples in Arizona are lucky :)
I forgot! Arizona doesn't change their time either....does Hawaii? Can't remember
DeleteWe like springing forward. It means breakfast happens earlier. It's that whole falling behind thing we think is a bad idea. It makes breakfast and dinner late for MONTHS on end.
ReplyDeleteWe were just fishing through the spam comments on our blog and found SIX old comments of yours hiding in there. Thanks for your patience. Hopefully you are rescued from the spam file for good now!
lol!!! As a cat I can see where you are coming from, Mom says "not so much" MOL!
DeleteYou must have ESP! OMG! Mom was searching around your blog this morning trying to find a way to email you because she had a feeling that her comments weren't being posted. She wasn't sure. You MUST have ESP!
We are soooooo happy to be rescued!! Thanks so much for visiting us!
Love, Cody and "Mom"
We're with you, Cody! We don't understand why the dad was complaining about "losing an hour of sleep." Confusing...
ReplyDeleteHEY!!! We got a PARCEL from you...there will be video this week, to be sure!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!
This is gonna be fun.
glad it arrived safe and sound and you are most welcome!! I had blogged about it but you probably didn't see it. Since I already had your address I just sent it on to Purina!
Deletexoxo
I changed my clocks a day early, so we can all walk about totally confused. You will see my face on your "Followers" list today.
ReplyDeleteGreg_1948
OMG you are too funny!!!! I bet everyone you live with is just thrilled! lol.
DeleteThanks so much for following! You KNOW I am following you too!
Oh Cody, you've got a very good point there!! That just won't do to steal away an hour of nap!
ReplyDeleteSleep on Cody, you need a lot of beauty sleep to stay that good lookin'!
HUGS from all your Greek friends,
Joan & crew
((((hugs)))) back at ya!
DeleteOMC! I commented on this yesterday but someone musta thought I was spam. Oh well. Clocks changed.
ReplyDeleteWe want our sleep back! We aren't farmers!
ReplyDelete"We aren't farmers" lol that is hilarious! Mom is upset because she always woke up on her own at 6...she just got up and it is after 7 :(
DeleteHaha! Lucky us!
ReplyDeleteBut to be honest, I like being an early bird! You get more done in your day or the sky can be pretty in the morning!
Have a fabulous week!
Pippa :) woof
Mommy sure is gunching about this - but hey we gets noms earlier, so it's all good in da hood!
ReplyDeleteOur mom has been gunching for WEEKS about that silly daylight thing. We on the other paw are all for anything that gives us noms earlier.
