This is what Mom was doing on Sunday.......
It's name is "Pebbles"
Mom really ROCKS
doesn't she?
No worries, I laid on the couch
with Mom and took good care of her.
I had to be sure she would be
well enough to feed me
Love, Cody
Aacck! Your mom poor! It took our human a minute to understand, she thought that was a dead mouse. LOL. Would have been MUCH easier to deal with!
ReplyDeleteSending your mom purrs and universal Light.
dead mouse!! roflmao!! Actually I think the stone would be easier to deal with than that! lol
DeleteThat ain't no yabba-dabba-doo Cody! Hugs to Mom from all of us.
ReplyDeleteMom says thank you soooooooo much!
Deleteouch ouch ouch.. (although a reference item next to it would be helpful in knowing how many ouches to put in there)
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteDear dog, is that a kidney stone? Yikes!!! So glad the pain is over and you had such attentive company to help you through.
ReplyDeleteyep it is! Lots more where that one came from! lol. I get them all of the time. I have what is called "spongy kidneys" their job is to make stones. When they stay status quo all is good, it's when they decide to "roll" that the problems start! Cody took GREAT care of me though
DeleteThat looks huge! We hope your mum is feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteIt really isn't that big but I was shocked that it came out well once it did! Took pain meds, that relaxed the muscles so that it could come out. Feeling MUCH better now thanks!
DeleteOh no! I hope you're feeling better :( *hugs*
ReplyDeleteOh no - take care glad u have a cutie to comfort you.
ReplyDeletethank you! Cody took excellent care of me
Deleteouch, ouch! that is painful! I hope that's the end of those for a long while.

ReplyDeleteI will!! thank you! She is feeling much better!
DeleteOUCH! I bet your human needed LOTS of nursing! I hope she feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sparkle! She rarely takes meds and when Dad, Dakota and I see her wanting pain meds then we know it is a BAD one!! She is doing much better though, thank you!!

DeleteAwww, all things must pass and that includes kidney stones. When TW's friend had them, they told him in the hospital to drink beer. In fact, that's what they gave him. Hope you feel better.

ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Thought of you FIRST THING. I sure jinxed myself eh? lol. It is actually a piece of another...it is about the size of a kernel of popcorn and jagged. I am lucky I passed it at home! I am lucky that once I took the pain meds that baby popped right out! I am off for those XRays today!
Deletexoxo
Good thing you were there with her Code, and you convinced her to get those x-rays!
ReplyDeleteyep she had them today and boy oh boy were they ever interesting!
DeletePuuuuurrrrs to you mom!

DeleteYIKES! Your a braver man than I, Gunga Din. So glad to read you are doing better!
ReplyDeleteOMG you soooo made me laugh and I thank you! lol. Just came back from Urologist. He was thrilled that I brought the newest addition in lol. He sent it out for tests, my poor "baby!!"
DeleteHaving another litho March 13...fun times ahead!
I saw this pic on Facebook and I shuddered b/c I had two kidney stones in my lifetime and it was horrible! You still had your sense of humor afterwards so that's a good sign! I loved that you thought it was funny that I had my camera ready before and after my surgery so I'm glad you followed suit...lol
ReplyDeleteOhhh yes April I have 100s of them all day every day so there is nothing I can do but laugh. In the scheme of things I am lucky. I have only passed around 8 at home on my own, I have had 5+ lithotripsies....and 100s of stones smashed.
DeleteActually I took the photo of the stone at home on Sunday...BEFORE I saw your post :)
Oh, honey!! I'm glad you're OK. The kitties and I are sending mega-love your way. xo
ReplyDeleteHi Angie, thanks much for stopping by. I am as "ok" as I can be, considering :)
DeleteThanks for the "mega love" it is much appreciated!
