Today, I am going to share something from Day 3, one of the most awe-inspiring structures for cats that I have ever seen!
First, let me back up the bus a bit. While visiting Purina Farms® last Friday, my blogging friends, Angie Bailey (Catladyland) , Tamar Arslanian (I HAVE CAT) and myself were the last three bloggers at the farm, because we were leaving Friday instead of Saturday. The others were already en route to their next adventure.
Turned out to be lucky for us, because we were given the treat of seeing one of the most incredible cat houses I have ever laid eyes on! The Visitor's Center at Purina Farms houses a Pet Center with attractions such as The Incredible Dog Arena, a full-size barn with domestic farm animals and an indoor theater, just to name a few. It is also the home of a 20 foot tall, multi-level cat house which is the key attraction of the center.
One look and you can see why!
The Cat House has windows, stairways, rocking chairs, a "time-out" bench and other furnishings. It is the purrfect paradise for the kitties of Purina!A staircase climbs around the structure giving visitors an eye-level view of the kitties!
Who do we have here?
It's Tamar Arslanian
from I HAVE CAT!
If you get the chance to visit St.Louis,
make sure that Purina Farms
is on your MUST SEE list!
Disclosure: Purina completely paid for our trip. We were not obligated to blog about our visit at all. All opinions are my own.
How cool!!! Wow, cat paradise!
ReplyDeleteWe dream of cat mansions or Cat townhouses but alas we finally found someone willing to build dry cat feeding stations and we're thrilled with functional houses even if they are not fancy! Once they are built we will post to our blog.

Those are amazing! Ooohhhh... and I bet those lucky cats get to scratch at the walls and rails and wherever else they like without anyone every yellin' at 'em. Well, my peeps don't actually yell at us but still... they get that look, you know? And the voices are raised a bit.
ReplyDeleteI better not let Dan see this, or he might build a leopard themed one for our house!

ReplyDeleteWe need a house like that!
ReplyDeleteHoly Ceiling Cat!!! Who knew!! How pawsome is that??! Thank you Cody and Miss Caren for sharing this with us
ReplyDeleteWOW. Now THAT is what we call a cat house!
ReplyDeleteWere the cats happy and friendly? What's it like being a Purina test cat? I'm curious to see what sort of lives they lead.
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing. I'm kind of curious too. Were there a lot of people there to love the test cats?
ReplyDelete@shelter cats the cats at Purina are all HUGELY loved! (dogs too!) Purina does NOT perform invasive testing and everything is done with the guidance of a veterinarian. I was hugely impressed and YES the kitties at Purina get TONS of love!
ReplyDelete@Katz Tales..the cats that we met were ALL "happy and friendly" (you will see that soon)...we didn't meet them all but as I mentioned in the comment above Purina does testing that is non-invasive, it is veterinarian approved and for the cats and dogs it is "fun". The cats that I met weren't skittish or afraid...they were well-adjusted and quite happy!
@meowmeowmans we agree!
@savannah MOL! You are so silly! Love your reaction! You are most welcome!
