How can YOU help?
You can PLEDGE to adopt your next pet-Mom wasn't able to adopt another pet but she did the next best thing. She paid for someone else to adopt a pet! You can read about that here.

UPDATE! Since mom originally wrote the blog post that she mentioned above, Mom DID hear from the sister of the woman who Mom bought Tigre for and he is doing super well!! Here he is with an update!

You can PLEDGE to volunteer at your local shelter, if you can't be there physically shelters have HUGE lists of items that they always need. Drop by your local shelter or give them a call. They will be THRILLED to hear from you!
You can PLEDGE to take a photo of a homeless pet and share it. This is super easy to do and MANY of you already do this on a regular basis. If you notice on the side of this blog, we regularly display a widget from PetFinder that lists a local cat every day who needs a home!

ReplyDeleteI like that name: Pets Add Life. Mama supports the SPCA and so far has managed to get some of her friends to adopt some cats. Pray for more prosperity in our life so that our dream of having our own no-kill shelter will come through. har har har *happy laughs*

There will definately be an adoption in our future.. We are just not sure of the when of it....

ReplyDeleteThat was very nice to pay for a kitty to be adopted. We help post cats and dogs who need home son our FB pae and Twitter. We are kind of our own shelter her with all of us so Mom has her hands full and we don't need more critters.

ReplyDeleteHey Cody! You know I couldn't agree more...adopt, adopt...but...we are moving and they would not allow cats, only dogs. Dad and Mom asked for a change in policy, and Dad completed the app and included my blog URL.The owner liked it so much, she let us live in her house, but only ONE cat. And, I, frankly, am scared of other cats...so we are currently a one cat family...wish we could have two more...paw pats, Savvy
ReplyDeleteWe can't zacklee pledge to adopt 'nuther pet right now, but now that I gotted "tutored" the Human is thinking that one main hurdle to doing so has been removed. She is sort of contemplating--she dunno though--I am SOOOOOOOO temperamental and easily frightened and upset, she does not know about rocking my world. We will has to see. XOXOXO
