It's Cody and I wanted to tell you in case you missed it, that Mom was extremely flattered to have been interviewed by Dawn, from the great blog:

If you have never visited Dawn's blog (which if you haven't, you MUST), here is some info:"I have been an animal lover all my life. Having many small pets when I was younger- hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, parakeets and fish, now I share my house with dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets. I work with pets in my job at a vet hospital. Past pet related jobs I have held are owner/operator of a grooming shop and customer service for an online pet retailer. Even my free time is taken up by pet-related past times- reading, training my dogs. They mean a lot to me. My plan for this blog is to share my love for animals with others!"
Here is some info about Dawn'sFeline Friends from her blog
Tyke- a 14 year old domestic long hair. Tyke, along with his sister, was adopted from a shelter in Washington state when they were kittens. Sadly, Rowdy passed away a few years ago due to renal failure, but Tyke keeps truckin’ along, although he tends to spend more time watching the activity in the house rather than participating these days.
Omar- a 6 year old Domestic Long Hair. Omar was found literally laying in the middle of the road when I was out driving early one morning. We could never figure out why as he had no injuries and are sure it isn’t something a cat would do when it is 40 degrees out. I hadn’t planned on adding him to my crew, but we had no interest when we put a sign up at the vet hospital I worked in so eventually he found his way home with me.
Pyro- a 4 year old Siamese mix. Pyro was adopted from an animal shelter in Bucks County, PA. I saw him on Petfinder and knew I had to get him. Luckily, he was still there after a few days. Pyro is a very patient cat and I think he survived Malarky’s puppyhood better than the rest of us.
Bitsa- a 2 year old Domestic shorthair. Bitsa was found as a 2 week old kitten, screaming her head off on someone’s front lawn. Several adult cats were circling around and 2 of her littermates were dead nearby so I quickly picked her up. I was glad I did. Her one front foot was swollen, neucrotic and even had maggots (yes, very ewww). She would not have lasted much longer in the June heat with that injury. I thought she would need the leg amputated but the vet said no. A course of antibiotics took care of it. While she does have some deformities to the foot, they don’t affect her and even at 2 she still acts like the crazy kitten she is.
So, Mom was excited when Dawn contacted her and told her she was going to start featuring pet blogger interviews and was Mom interested in being the first blogger to be interviewed? Being the
Dawn is also enormously active in the BlogPaws online community and often unselfishly provides valuable information for all of us to help make our blogging lives easier! Thanks again Dawn, Mom was honored to be featured, but...you owe ME BIG TIME!!!! MOL!!
Rabbit-flavored kisses,
Cody
Concatulations!
ReplyDeleteWHAT? They interviewed your HUMAN, Cody?! That is not right. I guess it was a good interview, for a HUMAN, but sheesh! So not fair.
ReplyDeleteCody, I am appalled that you didn't get to answer even ONE questions. That's just a disgrace!
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, my Human learned all kinds of cool stuff about your Mom. She had no idea that your blog was part of a newspaper. Whoa--very interesting! And also it is interesting, though not surprising, that your Mom was in advertising--she has very cool writing and layout and design skills. Does she watch Mad Men, MOL?!?! XOXOXO
Poor Cody left out in the cold so to speak,we know that you are the star too!
ReplyDeleteYay!! Loved mum's interview but we so agree with you sweet Cody! You are the STAR!! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Caren- can I hire you for PR? Thanks for sharing and for doing the interview. I love getting to know how people got started in blogging
ReplyDeleteCody- I know you are the star of the blog! I'm just trying to help by letting the humans think they are important. As if they are the stars of the blog. But then people will come here and see who the TRUE star is.
Oh Cody buddy - WE know who's the STAR of this blog...trust me! But sometimes we have to let our humans fly free so I think it was VERY generous of you to let your Mom handle the interview. Concatulations!
ReplyDeleteKitty Hugs, Sammy
Great interview. Have a great Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
@Chey thank you!!
ReplyDelete@Molly thank you! You have a great Monday too!

@Old Kitty thank you and you got that right!! Love, Cody
@speedy that's right! Hmmm...I should change the name of this blog so that it has just MY name in it! Love, Cody
@Spitty well, it isn't part of a newspaper per se...it's part of their website where they have other blogs as well. As Mom mentioned, she isn't an employee of theirs. They just own her link....but Mom owns her content and has complete free reign about what she chooses to write about. They don't give her ideas, leads, etc...Mom gets them on her own.
OMC Mom is blown away by your kind words. Mom's thinks her blog layout is a MESS and not a "hot" mess!!! MOL!! Thank you! Mom is quite touched (well, she is crazy but she means "touched" in a GOOD WAY!) MOL!! Thank you!! Oh and nope, Mom doesn't watch "Mad Men" but she should! xoxoxoxo
@Sparkle so unfair INDEED!
Great interview, but we think you should have been interviewed too!
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your mom, Cody!
It's because of you and that's the reason your mom got her interview! You're definitely the STAR!!!
I feel your pain Cody. The girl, like your mom, takes ALL the credit. Well, we'd better get ALL the salmon. Or in your case, ALL the rabbit.
ReplyDeleteWe loved your affurmation interview! ...and even though you probably *barely* have a mention, we'll go check out their interview of your mom. : )
Remember...ALL the rabbit.
xo, Katie
I enjoyed your interview but it wouldn't let me comment over there.
ReplyDeleteYeah!!!! Concats!
ReplyDeleteAfurmation. Ha! No, my blog and my new blog/website are two different sites. If you visited my new site. Thanks! And if you didn't thanks again for another blog visit. Either way it is good.
ReplyDelete@Benny & Lily, I couldn't agree more!
ReplyDelete@Sharon, I visited both :) Your new one didn't have a way to follow via email (or I think to leave a comment) unless I missed it which could easily be!
@Repositorio thank you!!

ReplyDelete@Au and Target when I lived in Cleveland I worked for The Plain Dealer for 21 and a half years in advertising. I moved to Michigan in 2001 after having met my husband online. In Michigan I worked for the Detroit Jewish News....and 8 other jobs. Our local newspaper (The Oakland Press) owns the link to my blog but doesn't interfere with anything that I wish to post about and I am not their employee.
ReplyDelete@Savannah thank you!
@The Chair Speaks, tell me about it, Love, Cody
