You mean it's not Spring already?? We had a high yesterday of 72 (normal is 45). Weird. Anyway, the only thing I'll say about the Ground Hog Day tradition is that we worry about poor old "Phil" when they drag him out of his burrow in front of all the lights, camera, action for TV broadcast purposes....poor guy - he always looks stunned (no wonder!).
Poor 'Phil' got pulled out again. Six more weeks of winter. Cody, looks like you have found a wonderful sun puddle. Good for you. Have a fantastic day.
Hey guys you know what I was thinking this morning? In the U.S./Canada Spring starts on March 21st...(that is the official start of Spring), today is Feb 2nd...it would be SIX weeks til Spring ANYWAY!!!! DUH!!! Love, Cody
I just read your comment about spring and that's just what I was going to say. Groundhog Day is a farce since we're gonna have 6 more weeks whether he sees him shadow or not. Over here, we haven't had ANY winter yet so we'll have 6 more weeks of above normal temps.
Winter has only just got to us! It has been very wet and mild until a few days ago. Now we have lots of sun, but it is freezing cold so we still don't want to go out for walks.
we just saw the American fun with Groundhog day on CNN today and found it so amusing - what a truly cute and charming tradition. Hoping you are well... I don't get to post much on God's Little People these days. I'm still having some worries with the cats, which makes it not quite so easy to write about. I am just popping over from my creative blog today as I have to do some other therapy to keep myself from going nuts with worry these days. Big hug from Greece, Joan
@Eric and Flynn, if I don't get over there please email me the link! I don't want to miss it! I will try my best to get there on Friday, is your Friday my Thursday???? My email is cgittleman at mi dot rr dot com
