It is the only litter we have used since and we have no intentions of EVER going back!
It's nice to see a product that lives up to it's name. World's Best does that and so much more. Aside from being literally the "World's Best" cat litter, another thing that Cody and I love about World's Best is their involvement in helping rescues around the country.
Please read what they sent in an email recently:
Help us spread the word about our GiveLitter™ charitable initiative - we'll donate 15 lbs. of litter on your behalf!
After donating more than 40,000 pounds of cat litter between deserved animal rescue groups in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Texas we are now focusing on supporting cats at three new shelters spread across the country!
Here’s the scoop on GiveLitter™;
- From 8/1-9/16, people can vote daily to donate litter, for free, to one of these deserving animal rescue organizations:
· Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (Wainscott, NY)
· Homeward Pet (Woodinville, WA)
· A.D.O.P.T Pet Shelter (Naperville, IL)
Each one of these participating shelters is part of the No More Homeless Pets® Network – a program of the Best Friends Animal Society.
· It’s free to vote and you can do it daily. Vote via Facebook http://www.givelitter.com/fb and on the program’s website at http://www.givelitter.com.
- The first time you vote and/or “Like” us on Facebook a pound of litter is donated. Each of your additional votes adds one-tenth of a pound. Voting is free and so is your litter donation! It does not cost anything and every vote counts! At the end of the voting period, the litter will be distributed proportionally according to the total vote count for each shelter.

Hello! Thank You very much for this information...
ReplyDeleteIt's really very generous of them to give litter to the shelters - we know they all must be very grateful! Thank you for sharing this good news!
ReplyDeleteYep, we changed to that a while back too, it's the best!
ReplyDelete@Amin you are most welcome!
ReplyDelete@OKcats yes it is super generous of them! They are always doing that and that is part of what I love about them!
@Brian I soooo agree!
Pawesome! I hope there's going to be very good response so that lots of litter get donated. purrr...meow!
ReplyDeleteMy Pie & I also tried World's Best several months ago & have never looked back! It truly is the BEST! I love that they pay it forward to shelters...makes me love it even more.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what that litter is like? Mom always buys me unscented as she can't stand the scent of the others. The only litter she has found that isn't clouds of dusty material flinging itself into the room and mine and her lungs is pine or corn. Thing is, they stick to me and track all over the house. We can't win.
ReplyDeleteWe love World's Best Cat Litter - recently, my human switched to a couple of different kinds because she was worried I might be allergic to corn litter. And while we didn't have a problem with it (we are not picky about litter), my human did! World's Best was more lightweight and less sticky (the wheat-based litter virtually glued itself to the grating of my sifting litter pan - she had to toss the pan out!). And it turned out that whatever allergies I may have, it's not the litter, so we are back to using World's Best.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info - World's Best is pawesome litter!!
ReplyDeleteI wish Allegra would accept this litter. I really like it and tried to transition to it twice, both times were a bust as far as she was concerned.
ReplyDeletewe will have our mama read this carefully and participate for the good of the shelter.

@cat from sydney I couldn't agree more!
ReplyDelete@Photo Cache yay! Thank you!
@Ingrid if the kitties don't like it, there is nothing we can do. At least you tried, that's all you can do!
@Kim you are welcome and I so agree!
@Sparkle funny you mentioned allergies because Cody is also allergic to corn (among MANY other things) I wondered about that with World's Best but I don't think the litter affects him at all. I truly think his last flare up was due to getting into Dakota's dog food.
@Admiral Hestorb this is totally unscented (the one that I use) however I am dying to try their lavender scented litter. I love lavender and I am interested to see if Cody would use it. There is a little tracking with this but I think it is significantly less than many of the litters on the market. What I do notice though is Cody goes on black chairs that we have and he leaves little dusty footprints (even with 2 litter mats outside of his box) I think we just can't win with that!
@Chrissy I soooo agree!
Good idea!!!!!
