Pet Charity Give-Away Winners!!!

Thank you to every one who entered my Birthday Give-Away!!! (and to everyone who stopped by to wish me a Happy Birthday!!)

The 4 winners were chosen in a lottery-style format by www.random.org. I assigned a number to each comment that was left requesting to be entered into the drawing and the winning numbers were 1, 10, 15 and 24. I am thrilled and honored to mail each winner a  $25 donation to the pet organization of their choice!! AND THE WINNERS ARE:





Please email my Mom at
 cgittleman at mi dot rr dot com
 with your complete name
 the name of whom you would like your $25 donation check written to
 and your complete mailing address
 and my Mom will send it in the mail to you!!



Also:Mom is going to mail bumper stickers
 to everyone who emailed her requesting one.
 If you would like one and didn't email my Mom,
 please contact her at cgittleman at mi dot rr dot com
 and she will send you a bumper sticker!

    Aunty Caren,
    We used to use "cat-in-sydney" but now it's "cat-from-sydney". That is a "call sign". You know....just like a feline marking territory.... purrr....meow!

    Hi Everyone! We are THRILLED to tell you that the FIRST donation has been made! Hannah and Lucy's Mom lives in the UK and she was one of the winners. She was beyond kind and chose a rescue in America to make her donation to, I already sent http://www.angelasangelscatrescue.org/ their $25 donation this morning via credit card.     ps: My Mommeh was beside herself with worry for the year or so that Harley was at his worst with EGC and tried everything (an elimination diet, Transfer Factor, changing litter, aloe vera, stainless steel or glass bowls, etc). We don't really like to use steroids, but when the blisters started eroding his lips, we really had to do it. I think really he has just sort of grown out of it, but we think one of the things he reacts to is Brewer's yeast which is in a lot of foods.

    At his last routine exam in December, the vet said he should take some Rescue Remedy because the stress of the visit might cause him to have a flare-up, and sure enough, he did just 2-3 days later. Now we have a supply of prednisone, and he takes a short course of prednisone at the first sign of a flare-up.

    Daisy thanks so much for having your Mom share the info about Harley with us! I am going to mention the Brewer's yeast to the vet...I have to check Cody's food and see if it is in there. He only eats Royal Canin canned rabbit and Royal Canin dry rabbit/pea formula...when you mentioned stainless steel bowls my ears perked up because he prefers to drink out of Dakota's bowls which are stainless steel! How old is Harley again? Is he older than Cody? Cody just turned 4 and I am so sorry I can't remember how old Harley is!

    @OK Cats, nooo, just long overdue but thank you, thank you Stacy and Ellie too! I am waiting to hear from the other 3 winners.

    You mentioned the Wordpress blog in my comments earlier -- my Mom uses Wordpress for a kitchen blog that she is way behind in updating. Be patient -- Wordpress is very good once you get used to the format. Good luck!
